Machine Embroidery Class: In the Hoop - Zipper Top - Valentine themed Bag
Create the sweetest little Valentine just in time for the holiday! In this fun, Intermediate, machine embroidery class, you’ll stitch a Valentines Day/Heart themed zipper bag almost entirely in the hoop—with only a tiny bit of sewing required. It’s the perfect quick gift for friends, kids, teachers, or anyone who loves a handmade touch.
Your class fee includes a project kit, so you’ll only need to bring a few basic tools and your embroidery machine. We’ll walk through every step together: hooping, layering, zipper placement, trimming, and finishing. You’ll leave class with a fully stitched, fully lined, absolutely adorable Valentine zipper bag.

- EMBROIDERY & SEWING MACHINE: IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION (INC. MODULE+POWER CORD+FOOT PEDAL+FOOT)
- 6X10 HOOP REQUIRED (If you have larger & do not have 6x10, please let me know)
- TAPE: Embroidery or Painters
- NEEDLES: Embroidery 90/14 + Metallic 80 or 90 + Super Non-stick
- TEMPORARY ADHESIVE SPRAY (505 is best) KK2000 works as well.
- DOUBLE SIDED WASH AWAY TAPE OR ELMERS GLUE STICK
- MINI WAND IRON
- STABILIZERS: Medium weight tear away & polymesh
- SCISSORS: In the hoop, duck bill, curved + tweezers
- THREADS: Recommended Isacord colors – pink 2152 + red 1902 + white + black + metallic red or pink or white
- THREAD STAND *Recommended for metallic thread
- SILICON SPRAY *Recommended for metallic thread
