Easy Sew-Make & Take-Pillowcase 10-1

In this class you will make a pillowcase while learning basic sewing techniques. You will learn measuring, cutting,and different types of seams and seam finishes.

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED
The only skill you need for this class is to be able to thread your machine and wind your bobbin. If you are unable to do this, we recommend that you first take our SEWING MACHINE BASICS CLASS to have a good foundation to begin your sewing journey. Then you can get all of your machine questions answered and not use instructional time in this class familiarizing yourself with your machine.

MATERIALS NEEDED
3/4 yard fabric for main body of pillowcase
1/4 yard of coordinating fabric for cuff
2" strip width of fabric for trim piece
Thread to match fabric

SUPPLIES NEEDED
Sewing machine, power cord and foot pedal
Bobbin
Pins
Scissors
Measuring tape or hem gauge
