In this class you will practice basic sewing techniques while constructing a simple lined tote bag. You will learn basic types of seams and seam finishes and other practices that you can apply to future projects. A great place to start your sewing journey or help you move up to the next level.

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED
The only skill you need for this class is to be able to thread your machine and wind your bobbin. If you are unable to do this, we recommend that you first take our SEWING MACHINE BASICS class. Then you can get all of your machine questions answered and instructional time will not be spent in this class familiarizing you with your machine.

MATERIALS NEEDED
Tote bag pattern (4.99 at our store)
Boxed Bag Template ($25.99 at our store. Amazing tool that you will use for many projects.)
2- 20" squares of fabric for outside of tote bag
2-20" squares of coordinating fabric for inside lining of tote bag
Thread to match fabric
