Bring to Class:
Embroidery/sewing machine with Foot Control and power cord
hoops: your standard hoop, 6" x 10" or an 8" square, or a larger hoop that can hold two blocks (designs) at a time.
Presser Feet:
     Embroidery foot
     1/4" foot or your standard foot for piecing

Needles: Embroidery 80/12 or Topstitch 80/12 or 90?14 (for heavy threads)
Embroidery Thread (for a finer look) or Sulky 30wt. Thread for a hand-stitched look
Fabrics can be solid or patterned, your fabric stash or Fat Quarters will be plenty

White fabric for Embroidered Blocks-3 and 3/4 yds.
16 fat quarters for Block Triangles
     Use any fabrics you like: small prints may take you back to older days; Today's prints will give your blocks a bolder look.
And Batiks will always give you a nice look of fabric moving and flowing across the quilt.
