I'll bet you thought that a layer cake was something you would find at a birthday party. Well, it is.. Except when you find it at a quilt store. In quilting terms, a layer cake is a package of 10 inch squares cut from coordinating cotton fabrics. Since cutting is not my favorite part of a quilting project, using a layer cake is perfect for me! I think you'll like it too!
